InterRed Online

Future-proof web content management. The AI-based CMS InterRed.

No matter whether publication-intensive online portal, product-focused manufacturer portal, social media platform or online community – nowadays, the managing web content management system has to meet a variety of highly specialized requirements.

This does, of course, include that the demands of the users are met. Referring to this, InterRed provides assistance by constantly offering up-to-date content that can be created with all common HTML-technologies. Since more than 15 years, the consistent separation of layout, structure and content, and the thereby enabled flexibility regarding design and architecture, are daily practice.

Furthermore, online content has to ‘convince’ search engines, as for example Google (keyword "SEO": Search Engine Optimization). For this purpose, InterRed is equipped with advanced and success-promoting mechanisms that already begin at the backend. Here, InterRed does also meet the highly increased user requirements concerning the ease of use in a browser-based editorial backend. At the same time InterRed is also designed as a multi channel publishing solution with integrated modules for different output channels. This means that InterRed customers are not bound to a certain "first" strategy if they serve several channels, but can decide for each individual content whether it should be used "digital first", "print first", "mobile first" etc.

CMS with AI (artificial intelligence)

The InterRed CMS integrates AI (artificial intelligence) to enable AI-based multi-channel publishing. The AI component, InterRed ContentAgents, is used for this purpose. The AI analyzes, supports users and optimizes content for different channels, saving time and resources and automating tasks. This enables more efficient and targeted online publishing for companies.

Visibly simple and intuitive

To simplify the use of the content management system InterRed also for inexpert users, the users are only able to see those sections in InterRed that have been assigned to them via rights and workflow management. The user interface is designed intuitively; function calls are limited to the necessary basic functions. If required, further functions can be set to being visible. The user is able to personalize the arrangement of elements in the main menu. The widget technology used for this enables not only the integration of InterRed internal system functions, but also of own, external tools. Depending in the definition of rights, these can be widgets created by the customers, as well as freely available ones.

Integrative and flexible

As a central publishing tool, the content management system InterRed can easily be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure. Diverse interfaces enable the simple integration of data from present applications, as for example ERP, CRM or product databases. Whether a single data migration from an existing system should be carried out or a permanent bidirectional communication to a central company application should be established – InterRed is always the right choice.
The seamless integration of other InterRed products, as for example InterRed LiveReporting, enables a simple operation out of one system. This results in comprehensive synergy effects.

Scalable and performant

Due to its structure, InterRed constantly grows with the set requirements. In particular, for publication-intensive, high-traffic scenarios with high demands on scalability and performance, the content management system InterRed can fully demonstrate the advantages of its flexible architecture. Basically, the content management system delivers static HTML-pages to the web servers, thereby bringing along all the associated advantages regarding SEO, performance and failure tolerance.

Regardless of this, the user is, of course, also able to make use of dynamic content, for example search results or overview lists. Therefore, an effective combination of static and dynamic components can be configured for the respective requirements of a web presence. Accesses to dynamic content can be cached to minimize the delivery time even more. There is furthermore a solution in case of an editor having to publish his content, for example news, immediately and directly: InterRed Instant Publish enables the direct "going live" of certain sections.

The content management system makes available various mechanisms to provide a maximum amount of failure safety and performance for the cases of application, ranging from the simple presentation of information to the publication-intensive high-traffic portal.

Simple and multi-usable

Due to smart system-inherent linkages, content can easily be reused. This is done without the creation of redundancies, within a web presence or across portals. InterRed, for example, knows which information of a content object should be shown in the overview table, in the teaser or in the actual article.
In practice, these advantages lead to time and cost savings, as the editorial department can focus in the content, without having to care about its presentation.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The CMS InterRed offers various supporting technologies to positively support new and future ranking factors of search engines.

Currently, the topic of Google Core Web Vitals is of particular interest for search engine optimization. With this, Google provides a uniform quality signal that reflects the user experience on the website. Website operators can thus classify and evaluate the user experience of the website on the basis of key figures. Essentially, this involves the loading process of the page, the interactivity of the page and the visual stability of the page.

The following metrics are among the Google Core Web Vitals:

  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): this indicator measures the time it takes to load the main content of the page. The search engine specifies 2.5 seconds or faster as the ideal value here.
  • First Input Delay (FID): FID describes the amount of time from the user's first interaction with the page (e.g., clicking a button or clicking a link) to the moment the browser displays the response to that interaction.
  • Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): The CLS metric measures the stability of the site layout and whether there are shifts in individual layout elements during use. Google has specified an ideal value of 0.1 or lower here.

Google's goal is to expand and add to the indicators that make up the Core Web Vitals in the future. The values are not intended to be static. If the user's expectations of the website experience change, search engines will adjust the indicators accordingly.

Further support in the area of SEO is provided by InterRed SEOPort. User interests, as well as current trends, are easily identified and analysed. In this process, the InterRed ContentAgents (knowledge management), which semantically identify topics (e.g. in communities), work closely together with InterRed LiveReporting (web-reporting), which identifies hotspots. The outcome is a comprehensive trend-scouting that increases customer loyalty by setting and occupying trends at an early stage. The obtained results are merged in the content management system InterRed. The editor can work with these results and can therewith optimally react on the user behavior. At the same time, the editor is supported in collecting the information required for this optimization and is thereby able to process existing information with regard to the target group.

Social media publishing

InterRed also enables the publishing of content in social media such as Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, etc.

Thanks to the features included in InterRed, social media managers (e.g. social media managers or editors) benefit from the many advantages of social media integration. This includes the intelligent synchronization of content between social networks (Facebook, YouTube, X (Twitter) etc.) and traditional channels such as online, print and app. This is made possible by the highly developed technology of InterRed MediaSync. This makes content creation and content management efficient. Thanks to AI support, existing content can be automatically transformed into social media posts.

In conjunction with topic and campaign planning, digital asset management and business process management, InterRed forms a comprehensive social media publishing platform.
