Trigger

InterRed is flexibly expandable by so-called triggers. These can contain any Perl-Code or SQL-instructions. Special variables enable the access of data in the system. With triggers it is for example possible to let data existing in the form of lists be processed by InterRed, resulting in an entirely different output. Triggers do also allow activities before or after a publication. With SQL-triggers the administrator is able to directly manipulate data in the database.

Of special importance:

Trigger-programming enables an individual adjustment, which can be transferred without difficulty at the next InterRed version-update.
