InterRed at the Publishers' Forum 2012

InterRed GmbH will be represented at the 9th Publishers' Forum by its managing director, Dr André Klahold. As part of the two-day forum, Klahold will give a talk on the exciting topic "Computer Aided Journalism – How Technology Will Change Media Processes".

The Publishers' Forum, under the patronage of Berlin's current mayor, Klaus Wowereit, has developed in just a few years into a key event for the publishing sector; it offers two days worth of concepts, experiences and hands-on workshops with an enthusiastic audience, and deals with, among other issues, the challenges of digitalization.

On the second day, April 24, 2012, the managing director of InterRed GmbH, Dr André Klahold, will also be taking part by giving a talk on the topic "Computer Aided Journalism – How Technology Will Change Media Processes". The talk’s topic has its finger firmly on the pulse: The world of journalism is facing a period of fundamental change. This is the inescapable result, primarily, of technological progress. Just as film transformed the theatre, technology will also instil lasting change in the world of the print media. The support offered by computers is playing an increasingly vital role. Under the title of Computer Aided Journalism (CAJ), with a focus on the print media, the talk also aims to examine the current status, recent scientific research and potential future developments.
