Motor Presse Stuttgart relies on InterRed CMS across the company

  • 14.02.2019

Motor Presse Stuttgart has decided to use the InterRed web content management system company-wide. In the future, the media company will rely on the future-proof, browser-based CMS for all of its online presences. The CMS already forms the basis for websites such as auto-motor-und-sport.de or womenshealth.de (Motor Presse Hearst). As a result, InterRed will supply content to over 11 million unique users of digital offerings in the future. The websites flugrevue.de and aerokurier.de have now been relaunched with InterRed – and more will follow.

Use of the InterRed content management system for all online portals

With around 700 employees, Motor Presse Stuttgart is home to leading global media brands in the fields of cars, motorbikes, aerospace, lifestyle, sport and leisure. The special-interest media company produces titles such as AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT, MOTORRAD and MEN'S HEALTH and is majority-owned by Gruner + Jahr.

Motor Presse Stuttgart's strategic decision to convert all of its websites to the InterRed web content management system also capitalises on the publishing solution's versatile possibilities. These include, for example, browser-based operation, integrated digital asset management and the option of multiple content use, including intelligent synchronisation. InterRed offers a comprehensive range of functions to support publishers on a technological level with the challenges of digitalisation, content creation, management and publication.

The websites are implemented and maintained independently by InterRed solution partner Affenfels from Stuttgart.

Tim Ramms, CDO at Motor Presse Stuttgart, says: ‘We are converting all of our media company's digital editorial offices to a unified CMS and, as is already the case in the automotive editorial offices, we are relying on InterRed to become more flexible in the creation of content and to be able to implement technical innovations in the CMS faster for everyone. In doing so, we are putting our trust in our long-standing service provider von Affenfels.’
