Both the e-paper editions of “taz.die tageszeitung” and the website taz.de are produced using InterRed, as are the weekend edition “taz.am wochenende” and the German-language edition of the French monthly newspaper “Le Monde diplomatique,” which is also published by taz-Verlag.
The main production site is Berlin. In addition, taz has local editorial offices in Hamburg and Bremen. The current circulation (including e-paper) of taz stands at 53,000 copies sold. Approximately 250 employees work at the publishing house and in the editorial offices.
Thanks to InterRed’s AI solution, e-paper production is automated.
Andreas Marggraf, Managing Director of “taz”:
“The transformation of taz is an ongoing process that focuses equally on efficiency and journalistic standards. By automating our layout processes using InterRed, we are creating the conditions to further develop our e-paper in a cost-effective and high-quality manner.”
