SUPERillu is the most widely read magazine in the east of Germany, and has achieved absolute dominance in the new federal states with a record coverage of 19,2 percent (source: ma 2005 I). No other magazine has a similar coverage in its area of circulation.

The success of SUPERillu can be explained easily: it does not report about the people of eastern Germany, but for them. Thereby the magazine has obtained an enormous credibility.

The readers of SUPERillu can be found in all age-groups and social layers, especially in the middle age-groups with good income.

Special editions like the SUPERweihnacht or SUPERostsee are part of the SUPER-family. Together with the magazine SUPERillu and the successful online-appearance manifold possibilities of cross-medial communication arise.
