The Medienarchiv68 of the Axel Springer publishing house is an online database with about 5,900 articles from the years 1966 till 1968. The database is accessible for everyone and shows the reporting of the Axel Springer editorial department about the German 68-movement.

Since January the 17^th 2010 this large database allows an easy access to the original sources for everyone who wants to get an own idea of the topic. Into the Medienarchiv68 all articles from the own magazines ‘Berliner Morgenpost’, ‘Bild Berlin’ and ‘Bild am Sonntag’, ‘B.Z.’, ‘Welt’ and ‘Welt am Sonntag’, as well as ‘Hamburger Abendblatt’, that are relevant to the student-movement have been included. The database is supplemented with articles from competitor-magazines like ‘Der Tagesspiegel’ and the ‘Telegraf’.

The technical basis for the website is provided by the Content Management System InterRed.
