The portfolio comprises consultancy, conception, design, development and technology, as well as the editorial management of content. A focus lies on content management systems (CMS), as for example InterRed.

Core4 was founded in 2002 by Meikel Quindel (Dipl.-Des.), Guntram Engelhardt (Dipl.-Ing.), Ralf Winternheimer (Dipl.-Des.) and Arne Wolff (Dipl.-Inf.). The agency currently employs 24 permanent employees, as well as several freelancers.
