Successful with InterRed
The digital change of the classic (Print-) media is under way since years. Already for a long time newspapers, magazines or books are the result of a range of digital processes and contents. But only in recent times the multiple use of content and the targeted, media-compatible addressing of the audience, readers and users have gained the importance and success that have been predicted for years.
Winner in reach
In February 2008, the long-time InterRed customer CHIP Xonio did announce that its portal CHIP Online reaches in average 4,24 million users per month, with 2,82 million of these being men. This makes CHIP the winner in reach in the group of men. No other editorially created online-portal does reach so many men.
Advertisement success in the web
Furthermore, CHIP was the first magazine to announce a higher revenue from advertising online than from advertising in the printed form. According to the professional journal „Internet World Business” CHIP has generated 9.1 million Euro from advertising in the web in 2007, slightly more than with the print object. This illustrates impressively the change of the classic media environment. We are proud of this success being based on the Content Management System InterRed and pleased about the statement of Mathias Plica, CEO of the CHIP Xonio Online GmbH, saying that InterRed provides the foundation on which CHIP Xonio has been growing successfully for years.
